Dear organisers, I am submitting this application on behalf of my son – Vitali Kolosovsky – who tragically passed away a few months ago and who had a big dream to submit his honey for this competition. He has prepared everything for it, but due to unfortunate circumstances, was not able to accomplish it. He was engaged in urban beekeeping, and had intuition /passion for bees. He loved the bees and never stopped experimentation. Not surprising, as we as a family had three generations of beekeeping, and he learnt as well as was inspired by his grandfather and promised to continue the journey into the world of bees. Just a side note, that his grandfather is 89 years old. Vitaly started from 17 apiaries and expanded to 30 apiaries working diligently, honestly and very hard. He actually compared this work of beekeeping to a detailed work of the analyst, scientist to name a few. He developed a unique formula for crystallisation of honey, in particular, linden honey. This phenomenon was highly noticed by the laboratory, which stemmed the way for and inspired Vitali’s participation in this international competition for Quality Awards. As a mother, who took over the apiaries, I do believe in the work accomplished by my son. I do , therefore, kindly ask the Committee to consider his application for participation in this competition.
